Brandy Pond Park Newsletter June 13, 2010 The park looks great! Thank you to all who have pitched in to put the place in order. Special thanks to Tim, Lynn, Henry, Mike, Glenn, Thomas, Pete, Ada, Bob, and Marge. We are looking forward to a wonderful season. New Application of Rules With the help of Tim and Lynn we will be considering making reservations with camping families with a dog. Each situation will be individually evaluated. Drainage Issues As indicated early last fall the major drainage issues were addressed and we hope that it will help things dry out this spring. We also tackled the back corner after closing last season and hope this will also aid in a quicker drying time for sites and roads. The roads are not ready for traffic please do not drive on them. New Opening Date Our opening date is May 25th or Memorial Day weekend which ever comes first. We have struggled with opening on the 15th and have decided that the extra 10 days to dry out and set up will benefit all.

Help with Camp Management As many of you know Tim Hanlon and Lynn Hall will be helping with the management of the campground this year. Henry has moved on to explore other opportunities and we all hope that we will see him back to visit in the upcoming season. Tim and Lynn will be stepping in and arranging reservations, interviewing for new seasonals, maintaining the grounds and facilities, and trying to meet all our needs as best they can. Please welcome them and their experience and enthusiasm. We believe they will be a great asset to all. Bob and Marge will continue to help out as they have in the past, managing the phones and checking on campers and the grounds. Mike and Ada will also be returning to help with the maintenance of the bathhouses, grounds and anywhere else that they may be called upon! We greatly appreciate the continued support of the campers, always willing to help out, as we all enjoy our spot on Brandy Pond.
